Much more comfortable out there today with the sun poking through as we make our way to a high of 28F. NE winds at 5-10 mph with a low of 22F. Warm tomorrow (mid-40s) but dry, Thursday same temperature but with rain.
A reminder that free fishing weekend is coming up on February 17-18. We have reports of a crack off Constantia. Both wheelers and sleds are moving around the lake and things are improving for walkers, but it is a crunchy out there. Fewer and fewer numbers out there fishing as winter marches forward. Those getting fish are still the ones willing to move around. Generally speaking, things continue to slow down in the walleye department with perch activity spotty at best.
We are in the clear for now, but the warm temperatures should remind you that all good things come to an end. Just a reminder, the locals are getting very restless/impatient with parking. Be sure you are not blocking a driveway or on private property.
Northeastern wins 5-2 over Boston University in last night’s Beanpot Championship.
