Clear this morning before the possibility of some storms comes in later on today. It may get a bit breezy out there later in the day. The heat will come back as the weekend arrives and we inch our way back over the 90F mark to start next week. The weekend looks hot with some storms mixed in here and there but no washouts.
Walleye fishing remains fairly steady, the only complaint seems to be around lunchtime as the mid-day activity has fallen off. Limits are being taken by those putting in the time, early and later in the day. Trolling speeds are still creeping up as the water has warmed. Guys are moving around 1.1 and sometimes faster using all colors of worm harnesses and/or slow death rigs.
We got bass on the weed edges now, great reports using live and artificial crayfish along the edges of the weed beds.
