The lake effect snow set right up over Oneida Lake yesterday and last night. Snow totals vary widely across the lake anywhere from 10-18″ of snow. On the lake itself it is pretty flat with some drifts, keep in mind we have a small sample size, but walkers on the south shore are telling us that the drag is not too bad–looks to be more snow on the north shore. Wheelers are pretty much useless right now. There are some nasty cracks under this snow along with some gas holes. Caution is a must. More snow coming tomorrow with wind, not anything like we saw yesterday, but still windy. Things look to settle as the week moves on. Not many folks out there fishing today.
