This will be the last ice report for the season, the shoreline is taking a beating the last couple of days. Access is becoming much more limited and cracks and holes are adding to the risk of late-season ice. As of Tuesday, people are still getting out off Jewel and Sylvan Beach with decent perch action from 8-35 FOW. With most calling it a season, there are only a few out there still working it. Highs in the mid to upper 50s for the second half of the week will not help things.
With the warm temperatures for the second half of the week, the shoreline is becoming more dangerous each day.
