A reminder for everyone, Walleye Wednesday again from the South Shore boat launch (free) is today. The ten-day forecast looks like some good fishing weather as the region continues to dry out. The lake level has come down a lot in the last week and the debris situation on the lake is much better than last week.
Worm harnesses for walleye trolling slow, though that speed seems to have crept up a pinch for some people, still getting reports from .5 to .9 as .7 seems to be the spot, orange has been a decent color with metallic colors when the sun peeks out. Reports are coming in from a wide range of depths depending on where and when you are working. Bucktails are on fire off the wall in Sylvan Beach. Trollers are grabbing perch as they look for the walleye. Getting good smallmouth action with tubes where you find structure and in increasing amounts out in the lake.
