The winds have finally come down here on Oneida Lake and we start the day in the upper 40s with a very light breeze. We will only reach the lower 60s today, but temperatures will begin to climb daily through the next week.
Yesterday was largely a wash with just a few boats out until things died down in the evening. Trollers are still working 20-40 FOW with orange, chartreuse, and perch colored worm harnesses. Others are working various jigs in more shallow water. Plenty of bass and walleye in the weeds across the lake. Overall, the bite is above average.
