Another cool start to the day with the temperatures heading back up into the hot zone. Looking at the forecasts, it does look like the Oneida Lake area will see some storms later today so keep alert out there.
We have received a bunch of solid reports coming in from the very deep water, 45+ FOW trolling at less than 1.0mph on slow death rigs, others are getting walleye in 30-40 FOW with willow blades on the same color patterns used over the past couple weeks. For most, the walleye are a bit slower than last week but we are generally getting favorable reports. Bass are hitting on ned rigs in the usual spots.
Passing on a warning, we have gotten more than a few reports of missing/disconnected batteries and electronics taken off boats. Reports came in from the eastern and northeastern portions of the lake Saturday morning and from the north shore this morning. Keep an eye out and use the appropriate caution.
