A cold and breezy start to the week led to a slow start, but today looks like the best day of the year so far with a calm lake and some sunshine. More 70s for daily highs in the extended forecast than anything else and the nights look warmer as well.
We continue to hear of a ton of walleye being marked in the deeper water, but they remain noncommittal. That said, those moving to more shallow water 10-20 FOW are beginning to catch more and more fish. Shad raps, jigging raps, and bucktails–black, chartreuse, and perch colors are getting the job done. Vienna Bar moving toward Edgewater and off the beach are good spots.
With the sun out, the bass are moving onto the beds and the best results are coming from worms.
