We have a high in the mid to upper 20s but it’s breezy with SW-WNW winds at 10-15 mph. Some sunshine out there but we may get a light dusting of lake effect snow at some point. The barometer is at 30.59 and rising through the day, it does begin to fall this evening through the day tomorrow. The temperature is going to be wild over the next week as we have some very warm air moving in tomorrow before it gets colder again on Friday, then we go back up and down some more.
The lake is much slicker now and we are not getting reports of anyone having travel issues. We are still getting nice reports from the north shore around 30 FOW water, off Lewis Point in 20-30 FOW, and off both Sylvan and Verona Beaches in 20-30 FOW. Really good reports came in from the Messenger area as well. Varying depths were reported from the western end of the lake. Some folks are also grabbing the occasional burbot, which is a great eater.
