West winds blowing cold 5-10-20 bite was hot (1 reply)
Awesome information Ed, but they are always biting for you 🙂
Thankfully the cold and wind made for a great chop and drift. We fished 11-15 fow and subtly jigged #ROTJAW jigging minnows in Purple Goby to a quick limit. Walleyes also were taken on gold sonars and ripping raps fished with a little lift and pop off the bottom. The fish are healthy. We also Boated two pickerel and a bass on a plastic swim bait as well. Very few boats out this morning. Water temps are down 4-5 degrees from last weekend and the stained water from the creeks and rivers coming into the lake has diminished. Water Temps are in the high 40’s and the fish seem to be eating well.
