Bring A Drift Sock or Three

Spread the love

Breezy, cold, and windy today.  Walleye fishing has been kind of slow, sonars and jigging raps/minnows in 20-25 FOW.  Silver, black/gold, blue/silver, blue/green have been good.  5/8 oz. sonars, 7’s and 9’s on the jigging raps–cast both with your drift and only jig as high as the fish show they are.  Today you will need or drift sock, or several, it is ripping out there.  Fluorescents/glow near shore, it is chocolate milk until about 300 meters offshore.

Rain in the forecast every day except Wednesday this week.  Temperatures do begin to rise for the second half of the week.  Been a cool, wet start to the season.
