A high of 41F today, Sunday’s high of 42F will come with rain and heavy winds. We were optimistic earlier in the week, but the forecast has turned and we have gotten multiple reports of dangerous ice conditions and incidents. The amount of runoff has risen the lake over a half a foot in the last couple days.
Fishing Report
Drain holes are pretty bad out there and access is getting tougher around the lake. With the extended forecast now showing little below freezing temperatures and the amount of rain coming in tomorrow, we are stopping the reports for the balance of the season due to the rapidly deteriorating ice conditions. Yes, people are still out there, but several old-timers have said they are getting pretty nervous and have shut it down for the season. We concur with this assessment and will not be out there ourselves.
