A cold day yesterday left some skim and chunks of ice near the shore, but we are nowhere near lock up. Once we get past Sunday, next week’s forecast looks much more favorable with some nights in the single digits and daily highs not getting above the freezing point. How true the forecast holds and when we will finally have ice is the subject of much speculation.
We will resume daily fishing reports for the winter once the ice comes.
